What’s the difference between Chilldisc
and Chillwell?
Chilldisc is a 4-inch stainless steel disc and is installed
flush with the bar surface. Chilldisc is ideal for keeping
glasses of beer, soda, and spirits cold for patrons sitting
at the bar.
Chillwell is a 3.5-inch stainless steel well. The collar
of the well is installed flush with the bar surface, and
the well is approximately 3 inches deep. Chillwell is ideal
for beer and wine bottles, as well as for outdoor applications
to help reduce spills while keeping bottles cold.
How long does it take to install Chilldisc?
Depending on the
length of your surface and the number of stations, it usually
can be done in 3-4 hours. Installation services can be performed by one of
our Chilldisc Certified Installers.
How big is the Chilltower?
With a compact 16" width and
a 31” height, Chilltower fits under
most any standard commercial bar.
How much does it cost to operate the Chilltower?
The Chilltower
is powered by a standard 20amp, 120v duplex receptacle, common
in most establishments. Because of the minimal
amount of energy required, it costs less to run than a draft
beer system. You can certainly afford to be way cool.
What is that ring of color I see in the pictures around the
disc?
That's a fiber optic ring of color incorporated to draw
attention. You can have one color or select from up to eight
other options. The colors can rotate
in sequence if you so desire.
Is there a lot of maintenance on the system?
Not at all. There
are no coils or freon in this cooling solution — just
the circulation of non-toxic bio-degradable fluids that keep Chilldiscs
and Chillwells amazingly cold without damage to the environment.
This green experience
is another unique feature; rarely found in cooling or refrigeration systems.
Your local certfied installer has the knowledge to address any repair
or adjustment issues.
So, what’s the attraction with this product?
There’s
a big “wow” factor when patrons are seated
at the bar but, the real payoff is when they find their
drinks are kept cold. As a
business owner, this means the beverages tend to disappear quickly, ultimately
resulting in greater sales.
Does the disc stick up from the bar surface?
No. Installed
properly, the disc is flush with your countertop. The result
is a smooth surface as it was before installation.
Does the Chilldisc take long to get cold?
Nope. When installed
to exact specifications, it only takes a matter of minutes
to reach its desired temperature.
What is the temperature setting?
Approximately 26 way cool
degrees...
Just enough to keep most beverages cold, but not enough to
freeze through contact.
