It was no accident that Fred Kent invented the Chilldisc... Because he and his son spent so many hot days in the workshop without a cold drink to quench their thirst, Fred recognized a real need and tapped his past experiences to develop a viable solution.

Fred began his working career as a refrigerator apprentice in Philadelphia, later becoming a refrigeration professional for companies such as Food Lion, Noxema and Anheuser Busch; all the while honing his metal fabrication skills.

He was a problem solver;
a master of cooling technology,
and ultimately, an inventor.

After years of trial and error creating countless prototypes, Fred readied Chilldisc product line for market, revolutionizing the hospitality, entertainment and residential real estate markets.
